Dear Trinity Family,

Last  Sunday morning we heard from Graham Lytch, Davis Darby, and Kole Merical during our services. They each shared about how intentional relational discipleship has helped them to mature spiritually. As Graham invested in Davis who in turn invested in Kole, each of them has seen the fruit of spiritual growth in their own lives and a greater impact in the lives of those around them. I was encouraged to see our people living out the kind of intentionality that is modeled by Jesus and the Apostle Paul in the New Testament! Let’s celebrate the disciplemaking culture that God is building at Trinity!

It is an honor serving Jesus with you, have a great week!

Next Steps class

Sat Jan 30 | 8:30a-11:30a | Sanctuary

Next Steps was created for anyone who:
  • Wants to call Trinity their “home.”
  • Has wondered what the "next step" in their faith should look like.
Next Steps will cover:
  • Trinity's mission, vision, and beliefs.
  • Our Discipleship Pathway for how to practically live out Jesus' call as a church.
  • What options are available to grow in your faith. For some that may be baptism, while others it could be joining a small group, serving, or becoming a member.

KITCHEN MINISTRY UPDATE

Trinity Bible Church partners with Grace Fellowship Church in Waterloo to supply kitchen essentials to those in need through Love INC. This connection is made when someone in need calls into the Love INC Clearinghouse and makes a request for kitchen essentials. When an individual is approved, he/she will receive a box of essentials with a store value of around $50.00.

Since last March our ability to collect at Trinity was reduced, but the giving has not! We received many calls in 2020 to collect from individual homes, or in the church parking lot!

Would you consider donating the following needed items as you are out shopping or cleaning out your own kitchens? A collection box has been added in the church foyer, or you can contact Anne Horton at 309.229.9005 | ahorton85@yahoo.com for at home pick up. Thank you so much for your continued interest in this ministry!

NOW IS THE PERFECT TIME TO JOIN A SMALL GROUP!

There’s something about laughing, sharing stories or a meal, serving and praying, and diving into God’s Word as His family. We see again and again how we are incomplete without each other and how we are better in community.

With the start of a new year, now is a perfect time to check out one of our small groups! Our Small Groups are meeting both in person and virtually.

JANUARY CHRISTMAS CHILD UPDATE

A new year and the shoebox packing continues! Praise the Lord for the Trinity boxes sent out across the world in 2020, despite the challenges of COVID.

As we start 2021, PLEASE continue donating throughout the year, using the donation box in the Trinity foyer, calling me to pick up your donations, or joining the basement gang to pack backs on Thursday mornings in February.

As a reminder, we are looking for school supplies, hygiene items, and a WOW gift. Thrivent has already contributed $250 to get the new year started. What can YOU do to help this 2021?
